American actress Alison Brie was born on December 29, 1982 as Alison Brie Schermerhorn in Hollywood, CA. She has an estimated net worth of $5 million from her theater, film and television appearances. She grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of South Pasadena. Her family is of Jewish descent.

At a young age, she was already interested in acting. She started performing in community theater shows at the Jewish Community Center in Los Feliz.
