American actress, film director and screenwriter Lori Petty has an estimated net worth of $5 million. She was born on October 14, 1963 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, and graduated from North High School in 1981. She worked for several years in Omaha, Nebraska as a graphic designer, then decided to pursue an acting career.

Petty began her professional acting career on television with a guest starring role on Freddy’s Nightmares: A Nightmare on Elm Street The Series. In the late 1980s, she had appeared in guest-starring roles on several shows, such as the 1987 iteration of  Bates Motel, Miami Vice, Alien Nation, and Booker.

During the early 1990s, Lori began working in film, getting her first role in Cadillac Man. She got her big break in 1991 when she played Keanu Reeve’s surfer girlfriend in the action thriller Point Break.
