American actress, film director and screenwriter Lori Petty has an estimated net worth of $5 million. Petty began her professional acting career on television with a guest starring role on Freddy’s Nightmares: A Nightmare on Elm Street The Series. In the late 1980s, she had appeared in guest-starring roles on several shows, such as the 1987 iteration of  Bates Motel, Miami Vice, Alien Nation, and Booker.

During the early 1990s, Lori began working in film, getting her first role in Cadillac Man. She got her big break in 1991 when she played Keanu Reeve’s surfer girlfriend in the action thriller Point Break. She was featured in her best known role in the 1992 film A League of their Own, opposite Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and Madonna.

From then, Petty appeared in a string of popular films throughout the 1990s. These included Free Willy, Poetic Justice, and Tank Girl.
