American actress, Sean Young has an estimated net worth of $3.5 million. The tall, slender, and graceful brunette actress has had a busy film career, but has yet to make it past mid-range stardom. This may be partially due to some of the negative publicity of her personal life.

Born Mary Sean Young on November 20, 1959 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, followed by the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan. A trained dancer, she also attended the School of American Ballet in New York City.

Before coming to Hollywood to start a promising film career, Young had been a model and a ballet dancer. She then performed in a Merchant-Ivory film Jane Austen in Manhattan (1980), for Academy Award winning director James Ivory. Fans of the sci-fi epic Blade Runner (1982) remember her for playing the sympathetic "replicant" Rachael. Although she appeared in several major features by 1987, Young didn't get much notice as a potential star until after she co-starred with Kevin Costner in the thriller No Way Out (1987). Other notable performances in films include Stripes (1981), Dune (1984), Wall Street (1987), Cousins (1989) and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). The latter was a huge box office success and made Jim Carrey a star, who immediately landed the role of the Riddler in the Batman sequel.
