Alvaro Bautista is a Spanish professional motorcycle racer with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million.

Alvaro Bautista began motorcycle racing when he was 8 years old. He participated and finished as a runner up in the Madrid Minimoto Championship. He joined the 50cc Aprilia Cup in 1997, claimed the first podium and finished sixth place for the season.

In 1999, he was selected to the first rider class for the Movistar Activa Joven Cup. Bautista has achieved a lot throughout his career. He debuted at the international circuit during the 2002 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season which he finished as runner up for the 125cc Spanish national championship.

Bautista won the 2006 125cc World Championship in Jerez, Spain. A year later, he also won in the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello for the 250cc class. Meanwhile, he received the FIM Rookie of the Year Award.

In 2010, he moved up to the MotoGP class with Rizla Suzuki. Bautista stayed with the team for two years despite the numerous injuries he incurred while racing for Rizla. He moved to Gresini Racing during the 2012 season.
