Five years ago, Cliff Richard celebrated his 70th birthday which marked its sixth birthday concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. At the same time, he released a new album, Bold as Brass, that sold less than 100,000 copies in the UK. Also, he toured with some of Motown’s greatest artists. Cliff Richard's fortune is valued at $90 million.
Based in Surrey, Richard has a Barbados house to supplement his Portuguese setup, where he recently opened a commercial vineyard producing Vina Nova wine. His company, Balladeer paid out £12 million in salaries between 1999 and 2005, virtually all of it going to Richard.As he has never written his own songs, Richard missed out on this lucrative income stream, but record sales of more than 250 million helped make up for that.
