Macklemore & Ryan Lewis is an American hip-hop duo which has an estimated net worth of $34 million.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis met in 1996. Two years later, after Lewis spent working on Macklemore's promotion as a photographer, the duo started their collaboration in full blast. In 1999, they released the debut extended play, The VS. EP which landed on the 7th spot on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart.
They created the VS Redux EP in October 2010. After a year, a song titled "My Oh My" became a tribute to the Seattle Mariners broadcaster Dave Niehaus. Macklemore & Lewis' single, Thrift Shop reached the number one slot in the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2013.
The duo got nominated for seven awards at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Macklemore & Lewis won four of it which includes Best New Artist, Best Rap Album for The Heist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. As of August 29, 2015, their music video for Thrift Shop gained 755, 776, 153 million views on video sharing portal, YouTube.
