Canadian-born David Foster is a musician, record producer, composer, singer, songwriter, and arranger who has an estimated net worth of $30 million. His career began as a keyboardist for the pop group Skylark with the top ten hit "Wildflowerin 1973.  Since then, he has formed several other bands with renowned artists which produced many hit songs.

In 1985, Foster was named the “master of bombastic ... pop kitsch” by the Rolling Stone magazine. In 1995, he became part of the joint venture with Warner Brothers which enabled him to launch 143 Records, his own boutique label. He is best known for the discovery of some of the very famous singers such as Michael Buble, Josh Groban, and Charice Pempengco to name a few. He has also produced some of the most well-known music artists including Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, and Toni Braxton. He was credited as a producer for Madonna, Air Supply and the late pop legend Michael Jackson.

With his works, Mr. Foster has been awarded 16 Grammys from his 47 nominations. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June 2010. Such achievements were an influence of the legendary music impresario Quincy Jones.

David Walter Foster was born on November 1, 1949 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He is the current Chairman of the Verve Music Group. Producer Jaymes Foster is his sister. He has been married four times with five biological daughters and six grandchildren. His present wife is model Yolanda Hadid. It was announced in March 2012 that she will join the cast of the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
