Jerry Cantrell boasts a net worth of a cool $30 million. Most widely recognized as the lead guitarist, co-lyricist, and co-vocalist of the wildly popular American grunge band - Alice in Chains, Cantrell was born in Tacoma, Washington on March 18, 1966.

After the band suffered the tremendous loss of lead singer Layne Staley in 2002, it wasn't until 2005 when the band decided to reform with its surviving members. Since then, Cantrell has played several arena with various lead singers but also recognizes the benefits of performing as a solo artist. In the fall of 2009, Alice in Chains put out their first album - Black Gives Way to Blue, since Layne Staley's death and went on tour to promote it. The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is the band's fifth studio album released in May 2013.

Cantrell reportedly sold his 2,151 square foot mid-century Spanish style home in North Hollywood in Studio City, for approximately $1.45 million. After purchasing the home for $1.75 million in 2005, he listed it for around $1.49 million in June 2013. It appears he took a bit of a loss on the sale.
