Ant remade connections with fellow former B-Sides Lester Square and Andy Warren and together with drummer Paul Flanagan, they formed Adam and the Ants in 1977.

During his career, he scored 10 UK top ten hits from 1980 to 1983, including three No.1s. Ant was also popular in the United States, and once voted sexiest man in America by the viewers of MTV.

Born Stuart Leslie Goddard on November 3, 1954 in Marylebone, London, England, he attended Hornsey College of Art to study graphic design, eventually dropping out to focus on his career in music.

In 1975, he married Carol Mills in 1975, and divorced her shortly after. In 1997, he married Vivienne Westwood's PR assistant Lorraine Gibson. The couple had a daughter, and separated soon after.

Aside from being a musician, Ant also worked as an actor, appearing in over three dozen films and television episodes from 1985 to 2015. His net worth is $10 million.
