American actor, record producer and rapper David Banner has an estimated net worth of $12 million.


David Banner was born Lavell William Crump on April 11, 1974 in Jackson, Mississippi, USA. After completing his bachelor’s degree from the Southern University, Banner went to the University of Maryland to pursue his master’s of education.

Prior to pursuing a solo career, David Banner first collaborated with Crooked Lettaz. In his debut as a solo artist, he released the album entitled Them Firewater Boyz, Vol. 1. Under Big Face Records, his debut album sold around 7000 copies only. The release of his single entitled "Like a Pimp" paved a way for him to be noticed by some major record labels.

After signing to Universal Records in 2003, he was able to release four more albums which include Mississippi: The Album, MTA2: Baptized in Dirty Water, Certified and The Greatest Story Ever Told.

In 2010, he collaborated with the artist 9th Wonder which led to the release of the album Death of a Pop Star. In 2012, he released his first mixtape, entitled Sex, Drugs & Video Games.
