American film actor and producer, Tom Cruise has an estimated net worth of $550 million. Tom Cruise made a strong impression in the teen comedy Risky Business (1983) and then had his first box-office smash as the fighter jock Maverick in Top Gun (1986). Cruise is a prominent member of the Church of Scientology. On June 29, 2012 after five years of marriage, Cruise and Holmes announced their divorce. According to TMZ, Katie is asking for a "suitable amount" of child support.  Katie also asks for a division of property in her divorce documents, although the couple signed a prenup that is based on California law.
