Chiddy Bang is an American alternative hip-hop band with an estimated net worth of $4 million. Originating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the duo consists of Noah Beresin, who goes by the stage name Xaphoon Jones, and Chidera Anamege, whose stage name is Chiddy. The two individuals met in college in the year 2008 and started the group. It was introduced through a former member of the band, Zachary Sewall in 2008 while they were still at Drexel University in Noah’s hometown of Philadelphia. The group’s music is produced under Parlophone and Capitol records. Their sound is a fusion of hip hop and alternative based on samples from artists, including Radiohead,  Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Matt and Kim, Passion Pit, MGMT and Yelle.

Most of the group’s net worth comes from their appearances on television programs, lengthy rap articles and online hip hop news. In February 2009, five of Chiddy Bang’s songs that were posted on their MySpace account were showcased by Pretty Much Amazing and this gave them a huge underground following. Chiddy went on to break the Guinness world record for longest marathon rapping and the longest freestyle rap record in 2009.

The group broke up in 2013 when Beresin left the group to focus on producing while Anamege pursued a solo career.
