An American publisher, Larry Flynt currently serves as the president of the Larry Flynt Publications.  He was named by the Arena magazine as one of its 50 Powerful People in Porn list, and as of 2012, his net worth has gone up to $400 million.

Born on November 1, 1942, in Lakeville, Magoffin County, Kentucky, Larry Flynt was raised alone by his mother in Hamlet Indiana. With just  $1,800 from his personal savings, Flynt started his own enterprise by buying his mother's bar, Keewee, which was based in Ohio. Later on, he started earning at least $1000 a day which enabled him to purchase 2 other bars. Subsequently, he opened a high class bar which he named The Hustler Club. Shortly, he opened branches in Columbus, Toledo, Cincinnati, Akron and Cleveland. From then on, he started earning $260,000 and $520,000 every year.

It was March 1972 when he established the Hustler Newsletter. The first issues of Hustler went unnoticed but in 1975, it earned widespread attention after the magazine featured the nude photos of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, a former First Lady, while she was sunbathing.

Larry Flynt is currently married to his fifth wife Elizabeth Berrios whom he has a son and 4 daughters named Theresa, Tonya, Lisa and Larry Jr.
