Gunsmoke Guns owner Rich Wyatt has an estimated net worth of $10 million. His professional career spanned for 22 years as a law enforcement officer. He has served as the Chief of Police in Alma, Colorado for twenty years. He used to be a fireman and has built several of his own guns. He later became a firearms instructor which led to launching his own gun manufacturing business called Gunsmoke Guns in the 1980's.

Mr. Wyatt is the current CEO of Gunsmoke Guns. He and his family as well as his gun business are the subject of the reality series American Guns on the Discovery Channel. Together, they have traveled and hunted in Africa. Later on, he was certified as one of the only six Master Instructors by the colonel. He was also certified the P.O.S.T. board by the NRA and the FBI. He has taught a thousand of students both in the law enforcement and private sector.
