San Francisco-based entrepreneur Garrett Camp has an estimated net worth of $6.65 billion as of July 2017, according to Bloomberg. Camp is best recognized as the founder of several companies such as Expa, Uber and StumbleUpon.

Over the past decade, Camp has been noted for creating new products. While he was studying at the University of Calgary, he became one of the founders of StumbleUpon which later earned more than 25 million registered users. He eventually became the founding CEO of the web-discovery platform.

It was in 2009 when Uber was founded by Garrett Camp. Uber was the first ever on-demand car service made available via mobile application. Today, Uber operates in more than 35 cities locally and internationally.

Until today, Garrett Camp serves as the Chairman of Uber and StumbleUpon. In 2013, he founded Expa. The new platform specializes in developing new systems, products and services.

In 2007, he was listed as among the TR35 List of Top Innovators under the age of 35 at Technology Review’s Emerging Technologies Conference held at MIT.
