Taiwanese businessman Lin Rong San has an estimated net worth of $3.9 billion as of December 2015 according to Forbes. He is known to be the founder of Union Bank of Taiwan. Today, Lin Rong San is considered as one of the largest real estate owners in Taiwan.

In addition to numerous commercial buildings he owns in Taipei, Lin Rong San also owns vast tracks of lands in suburb areas where Taiwanese of middle-income normally seek for more affordable real estate. He is also the publisher of the newspaper, Liberty Times. His brother Lin Yu-lin also made it to the list of rich list of Taiwan.
