George and Michael Karfunkel are American businessmen with an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes. Most of the brothers' fortune came from their insurance and real estate investments.

George Karfunkel, 65, currently serves as the director of the company, a position he has been serving since 1998. He is also the present Chairman of the New York-based Sabr Group. Meanwhile, Michael Karfunkel serves as the founder, Chairman (since 2010) and CEO (since 2012) of the company.

Immigrating from Hungary, the duo first earned their fortune from their stock transfer agency which they sold to an Australian private equity firm in 2008 for $900 million. Currently, George, Michael, and the other members of the Karfunkel family are major shareholders at the AmTrust Financial which was founded in 1998. Aside from being real estate investors, they also manage the Worldwide TechServices, a company that specializes in computer maintenance.
