American businessman Henry Samueli has an estimated net worth of $2.9 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes. Currently, Samueli sits as the chief technology officer, co-founder and chairman of the board of Broadcom Corporation. In addition to being a well known philanthropist, Henry Samueli also owns the Anaheim Ducks.

While working as a professor at UCLA, Samueli co-founded Broadcom Corporation, with one of his former students. Three years later, the company came public and in 1998, it became a public traded company.

Seven years later, Henry and his wife, Susan, brought the Anaheim Ducks for only $75 million from the Walt Disney Company. Under their management, the team won the 2007 Stanley Cup champion.
