Currently, Brad Kelley holds interests in Kelley Conservation Foundation, NC2 Media and Vaon Technologies. In 1991, he founded the cigarette company, Commonwealth Brands. Several years later, he sold Commonwealth Brands to Houchens Industries for $1 billion.

Brad Maurice Kelley was born on 1956 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is currently married to Susan Kelley with whom he has three children. The family currently lives in Franklin, Tennessee and Wyoming. After spending a short time with Western Kentucky University, he left the academe to pursue his business interests.
