Malvinder Mohan Singh previously served as CEO and Chairman of Ranbaxy Laboratories. He resigned from his posts in 2009.When his father died in 1999, Malvinder and Shivinder Singh inherited 33.5% of their family's stake in Ranbaxy Laboratories. In 2008, they sold their inheritance for $2 billion.

Malvinder Mohan Singh is the co-owner of Religare Wellness and Fortis Healthcare. Malvinder Singh serves as the executive chairman of Fortis Healthcare while Shivinder sits as the Vice Chairman.
