He is a graduate of Temple University where he completed his degree in Business Administration in 1955. Currently based in Miami, Florida, Norman Braman is married to Irma Braman with whom he has two children named Suzi and Debra.

After working for two years at Seagram's Distributors, Norman Braman formed Keystone Stores, a Philadelphia-based chain of self-service department stores. In 1974, Philadelphia Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics was organized and he served as the company's CEO and president. It was in 1972, when he started buying car dealerships. He started in Tampa with a Cadillac dealership. Through the years, he continued purchasing car dealerships and today, he sits as the CEO of Braman Enterprises. Today, he has 23 car dealerships in Colorado and Florida which sell Bentley, Bugatti, Acura, Audi, Kia, Hyundai, Rolls-Royce, Porsche, MINI, Cadillac, Mercedes and BMW. In 1985, he purchased the Philadelphia Eagles from Leonard Tose.
