Anatoly Lomakin is a Russian businessman with an estimated net worth of $1.43 billion in May 2016. According to Forbes, he is the 85th richest person in Russia and is ranked 1175th in the list of World Billionaires.

Lomakin began earning his estimated net worth of $1.2 billion after he founded the International Potassium Company (MMK) in 1992. He also brought together Silvinit, a publicly-held Russian company involved in mineral fertilizers production, as well as two other largest post-Soviet producers of fertilizers. However, the alliance broke after several years due to over reserve sharing. In 2005, it only exported Silvinit’s production. Yet, it lost its potash contracts after Silvinit merged with Uralkali. Currently, it does consulting works.

Anthony Lomakin became a victim of fraud. He claimed for an illegal writing off his personal account of his shares at Silvinit done by an unknown person in a false passport. In 2012, he took up lawmaking and became a Yedinaya Rossiya party deputy in State Duma of Russia. He stepped down in February stating health problems.
