Turkish businessman Turgay Ciner has an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion as of May 2016 according to Forbes.

Considered as one of the wealthiest businessmen in Turkey, Turgay Ciner owns several businesses in the country which include copper aluminum, soda ash mines, power plants, media company and hotels. In collaboration with Chinese Tianchen Corporation, he recently invested $1.35 million for the construction of his second soda facility after his first soda facility, Eti Soda. Turgay Ciner currently opened UCZ stores in order to compete with BIM which is owned by Mustafa Latif Topbas.

Born in 1956, Turgay Ciner finished his Bachelor of Arts from Istanbul Academy. He is currently married with three children.
