Roy Edward Disney was a longtime senior executive for The Walt Disney Company, which his father Roy Oliver Disney and his uncle Walt Disney founded. In 2007, Forbes Magazine estimated his net worth at $1.3 billion.

Roy Disney was often compared to his uncle and father, at the time of his death he was a shareholder (more than 16 million shares or about 1%), and served as a consultant for the company and Director Emeritus for the Board of Directors. He is perhaps best known for organizing the ousting of two top Disney executives: first, Ron Miller in 1984, and then Michael Eisner in 2005. Disney was born on January 10, 1930 in Los Angeles, California and died December 16, 2009 on Newport Beach, California.
