Dagmar Dolby was born on the 28th of June 1941. Originating from Germany, Dolby went to Cambridge University where she met her future husband Ray Dolby. She was married to Ray Dolby for 47 years when the latter died of leukemia in September 2013. The couple has two sons named David and Tom.
