Thai Lee is a Korean-American businesswoman who has an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion.

Thai Lee worked for Daesung Industrial Co. in Seoul, South Korea, raised money for Harvard Business School and finished her Master in Business Administration in 1985. After her stint in graduate school, she worked for Procter & Gamble and American Express for two years, respectively.

In 1989, Lee and her former husband, Leo Koguan bought a software company, Software House for less than $1 million. The company renamed as Software House International and has 17,500 customers including Boeing, AT&T and Johnson & Johnson. SHI is one of the biggest IT providers in the world with 3,000 employees.

Thai Lee was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She studied at Amherst College and earned double major BA in biology and economics.
