On November 30th 2013, Walker was killed in a car crash in Valencia, California, when the Porsche he was riding in lost control and hit a tree, exploding on impact. Walker was a passenger at the time, with his friend and financial advisor Roger Rodas behind the wheel at the time of the crash. Police have stated that they believe speed was a factor in the accident. Walker was 40.
