Tish Cyrus has officially tied the knot, and her famous daughter Miley Cyrus played a large part in making the big day special for her mom.
The intimate wedding took place in the backyard of Miley’s Malibu home, next to the pool. Photos from the event show Tish in a strapless, lace gown, while her new husband, Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, wore a white collared shirt and black slacks.
Miley and her older sister, Brandi Cyrus, 36, served as bridesmaids. Images show the women dressed in light blue dresses and carrying flower arrangements made from white roses and baby’s breath. Miley’s older brother Trace Cyrus, 34, served as a groomsman.
One person not spotted at the event was Miley’s younger sister, Noah Cyrus, 24, who just announced her own engagement to designer Pinkus mere month after going public with their romance.
While it’s unknown where Noah’s nuptials will be, Tish’s decision to get married at Miley’s Malibu estate showcases how close the entire family is. Miley bought the house only last year for $7.9 million after her previous Malibu mansion burned down in wildfires in 2019.
With nearly 7,000 square feet of living space, the home has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathroom. It sits on an estate with almost 1.5 acres of land and sprawling views of the ocean and mountains, making a scenic venue for a wedding.
Tish only finalized her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley’s father, in 2022 after 28 years of being married, though they were notoriously on and off. She started seeing Dominic Purcell shortly after, while Billy began a relationship with singer Firerose, despite a two-decade age difference.
“A thousand times…. YES,” Tish captioned an Instagram photo in April announced her engagement.
While Tish may have been the first one to remarry, Billy Ray has been engaged since lat year, when he popped the question to Firerose in August 2022.
“Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you,’” Firerose recalled of their engagement. “He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.”
Clearly Billy Ray and Tish are moved on, and it appears their children are happy for them.
