Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just made an exciting announcement via their company, Archewell Productions.

On their website, it was revealed that the couple’s first Netflix project will be called Heart of Invictus, and it is being produced in partnership with The Invictus Games Foundation.

“Heart of Invictus will showcase powerful stories of resilience and hope from competitors on their journey to Invictus Games The Hague 2020, which as we continue to recover from the global health pandemic is set to take place next year,” they said to the official site for Archewell.

Prince Harry, who also happens to be the founder of The Invictus Games and The Invictus Games Foundation, also released a statement about his upcoming venture with Markle and Netflix.

“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to make a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve. This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year,” he said.

Last year, Netflix announced their partnership with Prince Harry and Markle shortly after the couple relocated to the United States.

The popular streaming site also said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programming for them. And the goal of each of their projects is to make programming inspirational for their viewers.

Back then, the New York Times said that Prince Harry and Markle may appear in the programs that they will produce. However, this doesn’t mean that Markle will return to acting.

In their statement, the former senior working royals explained their goal for teaming up with Netflix.

“Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us,” they said.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle’s income from Netflix remains unknown. However, they are expected to make millions from this partnership alone.

In fact, there are claims that the couple will be making $100 million from Netflix.

According to Us Weekly, another streaming platform gave Markle and Prince Harry another generous offer. But Netflix swooped in and they offered the couple $100 million.

On top of this, Prince Harry and Markle also have another lucrative deal with Spotify. And the former was also hired by BetterUp, a startup that enables businesses to give their employees access to counseling and coaching via an app.
