Corbin Bleu is an American actor, model, dancer, producer and singer-songwriter. He has an estimated net worth of $4 million. He became popular when he performed in the High School Musical film series directed by Kenny Ortega and he became best friends with the main casts Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. He also performed in the Discovery Kids drama series Flight 29 Down and the Disney Channel Original Movie Jump In! His first lead role was in the film Catch That Kid in 2004. He was born as Corbin Bleu Reivers on February 21, 1989 in Brooklyn, NY to an Italian-American mother and Jamaican-African father.

Bleu attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theater major. He also attended the High School of Performing Arts in New York as a theater major following his mother’s footsteps. He followed in his father’s footsteps and began appearing in TV commercials at the age of two for products like Life cereal, Bounty, Hasbro, and Nabisco. He then discovered his love for dance and he took jazz and ballet classes as the only boy in the group. He then trained in dancing at the Debbi Allen Dance Academy.

At four, Corbin was already a model at the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. He appeared in print ads for stores like Macy’s, Gap, Target, and Toyrs R Us. He was also in the fashion spreads of Child, Parent, and American Baby magazines and his image is included in the toys and game packaging. When he was six years old, he appeared in his first professional theater production off Broadway and he played an abandon homeless mute in the play Tiny Tim is Dead.

He and his family moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and he quickly landed a recurring role in the TV series High Incident (1996). He had small lead roles in the films Soldier (1998) with Kurt Russell, Mystery Men (1999) with Ben Stiller, William H. Macy and Greg Kinnear, and galaxy Quest (1999) with Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman. He has guest star appearances in TV shows like ER (1994), Malcolm and Eddie (1996), Cover Me (1999), The Amanda Show (1999), Hannah Montana (2006), and The Good Wife (2009).

Corbin Bleu is also a musician. His first professionally recorded song was Circles or Circles In My Mind for his then movie Flight 29 Down. Several executives from record companies heard his song and wanted to sign him a contract. He later signed with Hollywood Records and has released two albums: Another Side (2007) and Speed of Light (2009).
