English actress and singer Kate Winslet has an estimated net worth of $90 million. She became internationally known in her Oscar nominated roles as the adorable Rose in the 1997 iconic blockbuster Titanic along with Leonardo DiCaprio. Kate Elizabeth Winslet was born on October 5, 1975 in Reading, Berkshire, England. At the age of eleven, she began studying drama at the Redroofs Theatre School, where she is also a head girl. Since 2002, Miss Winslet has had outstanding performances which received positive comments among film critics. She has various nominations in different awards for her work in films including Quills (2000), Iris (2001) and Flushed Away (2006) aside from the above-mentioned films.

Kate Winslet is the youngest person to have six Academy Award nominations and to have won the Academy Award for Best Actress in the film The Reader (2008). She was also a recipient of the Screen Actors Guild, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association awards to name a few. She has been twice nominated for an Emmy Award for television and has won once in her role as Mildred Pierce in the in the 2011 mini-series of the same name. She received the Honorary Cesar Award in 2012 for her life and acting career.

As a singer, she has a mezzo-soprano singing voice. She has received a Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word Album for Children in 2000. She was also one of the vocalists on some soundtracks that she has worked on. She has a hit sing “What If” in the soundtrack of the film Christmas Carol: The Movie (2001) which was a hit in some European countries.
