Through the acquisition, Litmus Music now owns Katy Perry's interest in the master recordings and publishing rights for her albums, signifying that the company will now be the recipient of any forthcoming royalties generated by her music.
The deal encompasses all of Perry's five albums released under Capitol Records, spanning from 2008's "One of the Boys" to 2020's "Smile." The agreement also covers multi-platinum hits such as "Firework," "Teenage Dream," "Hot 'n' Cold," "California Gurls," and "I Kissed A Girl."
